1. About Mr. Rishi Sunak

Sunak  was born on 12 May 1980 in Southampton, Hampshire to African-born Hindu  parents of Indian Punjabi descent, Yashvir and Usha Sunak who migrated  to Britain from East Africa in the 1960s

2. Mr. Rishi Sunak's Parents

His  father, Yashvir Sunak, was born and raised in the Colony and  Protectorate of Kenya (present-day Kenya), and is a general practitioner  in the National Health Service. His mother, Usha Sunak, born in  Tanganyika (which later became part of Tanzania), is currently the  director and pharmacist at the Sunak Pharmacy in Southampton and has a  degree from Aston University.

3. Mr. Rishi Sunak's Grandparents

Sunak’s  grandfathers were both born in Punjab province, British India, and  emigrated to East Africa. His grandparents migrated with their families  to the United Kingdom in the 1960s
